Who Am I?

 

       Well to get things started, This is who Richard Lopez is. Most call him either Richie, Rich, and or, The Man of Steel, however you may call him whatever you like. He enjoys long walks under the midnight sky, the moon full as the wind howls through the trees, the harsh winter months where the snow falls heavenly from the clouds above, and much more. His interest in art began during his years as a child. He was five at the time when he first took interest into such things like cartoon shows and animated films. building his curiosity into wondering if he could create such a program and be able to make children smile all over the world. There were some complications but nothing a little tender love and care could not handle.

     His experience in the art world has advanced ever since he started at such a young age, and he never felt more comfortable than how he did when he allowed his mind to explore numerous mediums, thereby letting his imagination flourish, from high-school, to college today. At Art and Design, he was able to expand his talents further and take on new interests as well. When he was later enrolled at the School of Visual Arts, he knew it would be the last undertaking towards his destiny. So far, it has been nothing short of adventurous and challenging; from creating thumbnails of stories on the fly, to drawing and re-drawing numerous character designs. Through his experiences of studying under such esteemed artists over the years, he has observed many things and with each undertaking he has put his skills and knowledge to use in order to make his dreams a reality. 

     

There were times where he did not realize he was truly destined to be an artist, and that maybe he was meant to do something else, questioning if he had chosen the right path in life. However, when coming across obstacles, you'll be able to see yourself grow as a person and as someone who you are striving to be. One has to be able to get to know oneself and explore their horizons, in order to determine what makes them happy and what makes them feel most at home. He found that not everyone is able to get a second chance, but this is why you must make the most of what you have and find what you are destined for. We are all meant for something great, and only by being able to harness ones gifts and to know that our paths are made for us to choose, is the way to discovering ones purpose. With this, he wants to prove himself useful, and to show that he can do great things if given the chance to, and all he needs, is that leap.
